My obsession with cyanotypes continues! A simple bit satisfying process, it always welcomes me back from a hiatus.
I’ve had a idea building for a while, these little fabric squares began as a way to experiment with cyanotype on fabric without a huge commitment.
My stack is building, and one day I’d like to curate them as a quilt, wall hanging, or maybe something smaller like a table runner.
The remaining images in this project post share the process of creating cyanotypes, as you can see the coating, arranging of elements, exposure, developing, and then the final product of dried individual squares of lovely monotone exposures.
